Daddy Daughter Time Ice Cream Social

The first time I saw my daughter get an ice cream headache was one of those moments I’ll never forget. The number of emotions showing on her face – confusion, mild pain, astonishment – was matched by the number of emotions I had as her father – empathy, amusement, and a bit of “I told you so”.

I never like to see a smidgen of pain on Grace’s face, but I guess some lessons you have to learn the hard way. And watching another human go through that experience for their very first time is just one of those things they don’t tell you about when you become a Dad. Priceless.

Now you can try any of the delicious Hudsonville flavors that Jersey Junction offers as fast as you want. By now, you should know better. 😉

This is the very first Daddy Daughter Time event and we wanted to offer something that all ages can enjoy. You never outgrow ice cream. So if your daughter is 3 or 43, bring her to Jersey Junction on Monday, May 20 from 5-7 p.m. for a free scoop.
